Still Panic at the Disco's Ryan Ross’ point of view

It wasn’t hard to spot Althea; she was at one corner of their living room. She was sobbing but she stopped. “Who’s there?” she asked. If I said I was present, what would she do? I didn’t say anything in the end but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to wipe tears that had just fallen from her eyes. “I’m sorry,” I said. “That’s what you said before.” “But I swear this will be the first and last time you’ll cry because of me.”

I sat beside her on the floor. I returned some strands of her hair to their rightful place behind her ear. She was quiet, like when we were in detention when I asked her if she had any boyfriends in the past. She never did answer that question. I didn’t want to hear her answer anyway then. Was she keeping a secret again from me?

It was hard not to detect that she had stopped crying. “Ashlee’s going to be angry at me,” she stated. “I don’t want her to come over here and put up a fight with me,” she continued. “I wouldn’t let anything happen,” I replied. “That’s good enough,” she said as she faced me. I was trying to be my sincerest. Facing her, I can see my regret for once daring to choose Ashlee over her when Althea was all that I could’ve asked for.
I couldn’t reason with myself why I chose Ashlee. I was disgusted with every inch of myself when I thought of my lips brushing against Althea’s after what I’ve did with Ashlee. "Do you think I deserve a second chance?" I asked. "I’m giving you that and more. I don’t even know why I’m doing this."
Althea’s point of view

If only Ryan knew, if only he knew that this wasn’t the first time I cried because of him. There wasn’t even an official us yet but I’ve already cried because of him two times. He was the only boy and I could imagine the only boy who could do this to me. Hell, not even my brother can do this to me. I know that the last words I managed to get out of me are not the best words put together.
They don’t sound as awesome as I love you put together but they don’t hit as nasty as I hate you probably does. Still facing Ryan, I saw somebody else in the background – Brendon but he left. Does Ryan know he was here? Ryan held my hand and traced whatever he could then looked back at me.
