Panic at the Disco’s Brendon Urie’s point of view
All of us were at once there when Ryan called. He said that Althea had awoken and she wanted to see everyone. The doctor said it was a miracle and the life support was disconnected but the words Althea later spoke were hard to take in. She started, “I miss everyone." Althea grinned.
All of us were at once there when Ryan called. He said that Althea had awoken and she wanted to see everyone. The doctor said it was a miracle and the life support was disconnected but the words Althea later spoke were hard to take in. She started, “I miss everyone." Althea grinned.
She paused and looked at Ryan who was frowning. The smiles on our faces earlier all turned down. “Ryan, you’re my most favorite person in the world. To Brendon and the rest of the guys, continue making great music. Make me proud.”“But I'm tired so I'm going to make this really short. I just wanted to tell each and every one of you that I love you and to move on with your lives, especially you, Ryan. Go for Kelly, I approve of her and I love her.”
We had to pull Ryan back from Althea’s body. We all agreed to have her cremated instead. Everyone wore white at her cremation except for Ryan who wore black all over. It rained hard that day. I swore I heard Althea singing, “all was golden in the sky.” My muscles pained to smile.“I want you to be very happy too after all of this commotion I know I’m probably causing. I want all of you to be happy because I know I will be. I don’t want to see anyone crying, okay?” She gently closed her eyes and smiled.
